WILLIAMS BMW in Bolton has been unveiled as the principal sponsor of the Wigan 10K.
Bosses at the Raikes Lane dealership say the involvement of Joining Jack, the muscular dystrophy charity, was a key motive behind their backing.
Ex-RL player Andy Johnson and wife Alex set up the charity for their son Jack, who has the Duchennes form of the condition.
Owen Duncan, business head at Williams, said: "We were moved when we heard Jack's story."
The run, which attracts around 3,000, takes place on September 1.
