FOOD bank staff have thanked a Yorkshire farmer who has donated more than a ton of food to their cause.
Brian Capstick, from Farm and Fell in Sedbergh, Cumbria has twice handed Bolton Community Kitchen piles of organic food from his farm.
After handing over a half ton of organic meat in December he returned this week with more than three quarters of a ton of various meats.
Gareth Bradbury from Bolton Community Kitchen said: “He is a fantastic bloke.
“He also runs a veterans village and helps ex-forces personnel with getting back into society.
“Thank you Farm and Fell.”
