A 13-YEAR-OLD boy has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a bicycle and car.
The teenager suffered injuries to his leg following the collision in Whitefield.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the incident in Roch Crescent shortly before 5.45pm last night.
A spokeswoman for the North West Ambulance Service said: "A bike had collided with a car.
"A 13-year-old boy was involved. He was fully conscious and breathing but he had a leg injury.
"He was taken to Royal Manchester Children's Hospital."
Two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle attended.
Greater Manchester Police also attended the incident. They confirmed the boy was injured after suffering a cut to his leg following a collision involving a pedal bike and a vehicle.
