ENGINES roared and wheels rolled as a classic car show sped into Bury.
Dozens of vehicles from across the decades pulled into the East Lancashire Railway for one of the region’s biggest and most popular rallies last weekend.
Row after row of eye-catching vehicles parked up at the Transport Museum showing off iconic designs and models made throughout the history of the automobile.
Among the stunning cars on display were a 1969 V.W Beetle 1500, 1955 Ford Popular, 1972 MG Midget, 1970 Dutton Sierra, 1987 Austin Mini Mayfair, and a1964 Morris Minor.
Sarah Kerrison, Transport Museum manager, said: “I was absolutely delighted with the day.
“We had a fantastic range of cars from the 1930s to 1980s and the yard was filled to capacity.
“With the sunshine and the friendly car owners there was a great atmosphere, and a good time was had by all.”
