A DAY aimed at boosting people's health and wellbeing will take place this weekend.
Called Healthy Darwen, the interactive health and wellbeing day, aims give tips to keep people healthy physically and mentally.
During the day, people will be able to find out what is available in Darwen to to keep them healthy with advice and demonstrations on offer.
There will also be something for all the family, with activities including craft making, animal yoga for the young and a dance exhibition by Dance Syndrome.
Other activities include an interactive yoga demo for adults and yoga for seniors.
The HARRI bus will also be on Market Square. The bus is a wellbeing resource on wheels and gives health, advice, recovery and resillience information.
Meanwhile, there will be free blood pressure and pulse checks by Darwen Health Centre services.
To round off the day, there will be a 'Wacky Woody' children's show at 3pm at the leisure centre.
The day takes places at Darwen Leisure Centre between 10am and 4pm on Saturday.
Admission is free.
