JOHN Coleman has decided what his starting line-up will be when Stanley host Sunderland in League One.

The Reds are without the suspended duo of Sean McConville and Seamus Conneely after the pair have both been shown red cards.

Defender Zaine Francis-Angol will face a late fitness test before the visit of Jack Ross' side.

"I think I have made up my mind what my starting XI will be but it has been tricky," said the Reds boss. "I am probably still in two minds over one position.

"At our club, we know our signings are punts to some extent. Some of them have played none or little league football so you are never quite sure how they will react but it's been positive on the training pitch.

"You have to pick what you think will be the best team to give you the best chance of beating the opposition and we know Sunderland will be tough.

Coleman was able to get a look at midfielder Sadou Diallo, who was signed on loan from Wolves, and striker Connor Simpson, from Preston North End, when Stanley were 2-0 by Blackburn Rovers in the Lancashire Senior Cup earlier in the week.

West Ham loan defender Aji Alese has joined up with the squad for the first time this week after he was on England Under-19 duty. Goalkeeper Josef Bursik has also returned to the squad after featuring in the England U20 set-up.

Loan defender from Championship side Fulham, Jerome Opoku, made his debut in a red shirt when he came on in last week's 3-3 draw with Bristol Rovers.
