A power cut has hit the area
A POWER cut has hit homes in the borough today.
The power cut has affected properties in the WA9 postcode area, say Scottish Power.

Shortly before 11am Scottish Power said engineers have begun works to attempt to restore supplies.

A spokesperson for Scottish Power says the issue has now been resolved and that power supplies have been restoresd to the affected properties.
