The power cut has affected 117 homes in Prestwich
DOZENS of residents were affected by a power cut in Prestwich which lasted about three hours.
Electricity North West said that about 117 properties in the M25 postcode area were affected by the power outage today.
Engineers attended the site to fix the problem, which was impacting homes and businesses in the Sedgley Park and Hilton Park area.
Electricity North West tweeted at about 10.30am: "We are aware of a #Powercut in #M25 #Prestwich affecting around 117 properties. We are currently investigating the fault and a further update will follow."
The network's website said that power was back on by about 1.30pm.
