A WOMAN was rescued from a fire in a flat in Orford in the early hours of this morning.
Three fire engines attended the scene on Sharp Street shortly before 2.30am today, Monday.
The blaze involved a door at the ‘heavily smoke-logged’ property, with a 62-year-old occupant rescued by firefighters.
Crews spent more than two hours tackling the fire.
