IT was a night to remember at Besses United Reformed Church as performances of rib tickling comedy and thrilling music delighted audiences at a Showtime Special charity concert.
Helping to raise the roof and help raise funds for great causes were tribute to Irish pop stars The Bachelors’ Story, master comedian Jimmy Cricket and the Scots Guards Association Pipes and Drums (Manchester Branch), plus a host of great supporting acts.
As well as enjoying a superb evening of entertainment generous attendees helped to raise over £1,000 for Francis House Children’s Hospice and Besses United Reformed Church.
Chris Goring, the event’s organiser, thanked everyone for their kind-hearted donations, adding: “A good night night was had by all.”
