A POPULAR pub has reopened following an extensive six-figure makeover.
The Wellington in Bolton Road, Bury, has undergone a huge design overhaul and interior changes and been completely refurbished.
It now boasts a new back bar and bar furniture as well as separate areas for dining and watching sports. A new colour scheme has been introduced to the decor, alongside new fitting, tiling and flooring.
The pub’s drinks menu has also been expanded and includes new craft beers and spirits.
Additionally, thanks to the overhaul, the pub has been able to welcome six new staff members into new positions. Emma Codd, general manager, said: “Wellington has always been popular with Bury locals, so we are really excited to be able to provide an even better place for guests to enjoy great food and drink, as well as watch all the best sporting events.
“The opening was a real success, with everyone commenting on the fantastic revamped interior and improved drinks range. We look forward to welcoming new and returning guests over the coming months.”
The Wellington is open from 11am to 11pm Sunday to Thursday and 11am to 12am on Fridays and Saturdays.
