WARNINGS have been issued about flooding on the M66 motorway.
North West Motorway Police urged drivers to "slow down" and keep their distance.
They issued reports of flooding on the M66 between Junction 2 for Bury and Heywood, and Junction 3 for Pilsworth.
North West Motorway Police tweeted about about 6pm yesterday: "Weather is not great this afternoon on the network.
"Slow down, keep your distance and drive to the conditions."
