A DRIVER has received a court summons after their car was seized from the roads by police.

The Radcliffe neighbourhood policing team have seized a black Peugeot for having no insurance.

Patrols discovered the vehicle in Westminster Avenue on Sunday, November 10.

Greater Manchester Police's Radcliffe team posted on Twitter this morning: "On November 10, the Radcliffe neighbourhood team seized a vehicle for no insurance under Section 165 in Westminster Avenue.

"The driver has been summonsed to court for no insurance."

The vehicle was seized under Section 165(a) of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
