A BURY-BASED company has helped the Bolton branch of the RSPCA with a donation of “much needed equipment”.

Garic Ltd, a supplier of construction site welfare products and workplace equipment, donated eight desks and a large amount of storage racking that they no longer needed.

The donation comes on the back of over £10,000 worth of equipment, labour and cash donations given by the company, whose head office is in Kingfisher Park, to the RSPCA over the last couple of years.

Commenting on behalf of Garic, Phil Hibbert said: “The team do such a great job.

“They are so dedicated and work extremely hard.

“They had a second container just over a year ago which we fitted out with heating and lighting which is used as a recovery facility.

“Animals who have received treatment now have a warm, quiet place to rest and recuperate away from the hustle and bustle of the main building.”

The Bolton RSPCA currently have a client database of 3,400 and last year treated 927 cats and 1,183 dogs.
