Reports of accident at Brettargh Holt
REPORTS are reaching the Gazette newsroom of an incident at the Brettargh Holt roundabout on the Kendal bypass.
A motorist called to say that it would appear a trailer and Transit van had overturned, blocking one lane of the A590, and traffic was beginning to back up.
The eye-witness said that the incident has happened 200 metres from the roundabout as drivers head to the M6 motorway junction (J36).
"It looks like it has just happened," said the driver. "The police are not yet at the scene."
