A GROUP that is helping to reduce social isolation in men over 18 is relocating.
Men in Sheds — The Woodies, who provide a brew and a listening ear for men affected by job loss, bereavement and depression, to name a few, as well as creating DIY masterpieces, are moving to work more closely with Little Britain Angler's, a group of anglers dedicated to improving and protecting the River Irwell and environment.
The last session at the current site, Radcliffe Cricket Club in Homer Street, will be on Monday, December 16. The new base at Little Britain Anglers' headquarters in Hampson Street, will officially reopen on Wednesday, January 8, with sessions taking place on Mondays and Wednesdays thereafter between 10am and 2pm.
