A THIEF who burgled a charity shop and a frozen yoghurt shop has been handed a suspended prison sentence.
Craig Carey, aged 28, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to stealing clothing, worth £50, from Barnardos in Ridgeway Gates, Bolton, on September 6 and the Frurt shop in Marsden Road on June 28 where he stole a television and two bottles of fizzy drink.
Bolton magistrates sentenced him to six months in prison, suspended for 18 months, ordered him to participate in 20 days of rehabilitation activities and pay a £122 victim surcharge.
