THE Secrets of the Bolton Mummies will be revealed in Bolton's very own Egypt next week.
As part of the scientific Elements exhibition event programme now on at Bolton Museum, Dr Stephen Buckley, who has studied Bolton's Egyptian and Peruvian mummies along with Professor Jo Fletcher over the last 30 years, will be giving a talk.
Dr Buckley will discuss the results of ongoing scientific analysis. He will be revealing some of the secrets behind these very special individuals and highlighting the Bolton-based research which has twice made world headlines.
Bolton Museum boasts one of the finest Egyptology collections outside of London, with pieces going on tour across the world. The collection is now displayed in a stunning gallery.
The talk takes place on Friday, January 10 at 7pm.
