A 15 year old boy has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with sex offences involving an eight year old girl and a four year old boy.

The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, pleaded guilty to indecently assaulting the girl by smacking her on the bottom over clothing and inciting her to engage in sexual activity by playing a game called "panthers" which required her to stand against a wall wearing no knickers.

He also pleaded guilty to inciting the boy to engage in playing the same game and inciting him to engage in sexual activity by pulling his underpants down.

Charges that he smacked the girl's naked bottom, incited both children to play a game called "dogs" which involved the girl, wearing no skirt or knickers, crawling on all fours and sniffing the boys bottom, and inciting the boy to engage in sexual activity by exposing his penis were dismissed after the guilty pleas to the other matters were entered.

The case was adjourned until March 5 for the Youth Offending Team to prepare a pre-sentence report.
