IT'S a case of one in, one out at Oldham Athletic, with Manchester United defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson joining Latics on loan and Urko Vera leaving Boundary Park.

Borthwick-Jackson is making his fifth loan switch from Old Trafford, having had previous stints with Wolves, Leeds, Scunthorpe and most recently Tranmere, where he made six appearances earlier this season.

The left-back, aged 22, has England youth caps to his name and 10 outings for the Reds under his belt. Having trained with the squad in recent weeks he has now joined until the end of the season and is available for Latics' trip to Salford City tomorrow.

Meanwhile, striker Vera's contract has been terminated with immediate effect. He has made just six appearances and scored once for Dino Maamria's side this term, his last game coming in mid-October.

The 32-year-old Spaniard's departure was also announced on Friday evening.
