POLICE arrested a man on suspicion of a drug offence after a chase.
Officers working on Operation Jemlock - West Yorkshire Police's dedicated initiative focused on targeting knife and violent crime - spotted the male in Bradford at around 7.06pm last night.
The 42-year-old ran off from officers.
But he was eventually caught and detained.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs.
A police spokesperson said: "Enquiries ongoing to test the drugs seized and consult with the CPS so we can get this to court."
This was the 2262nd arrest as part of Operation Jemlock, which began in April 2019.
