AN Altrincham supermarket is closing for four weeks for refurbishment.
Broomwood Post Office on Briarfield Road, Timperley, will shut today at 5.30pm and will re-open on March 5 after some extensive building work.
Damien Haydock, Post Office Executive said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the refurbishment. Customers can continue to use Post Office services at any convenient Post Office including our Timperley and Well Green branches.”
A Tesco spokesperson said: “We are pleased to be rebranding our Altrincham One Stop store to a Tesco Express.
"The Tesco Express brand will better serve the people of Altrincham, offering the local community a broader range of both branded and Tesco own branded products, as well as more fresh food and food to go.”
