THE demolition of a city centre warehouse continued at pace yesterday.
A section of Sunbridge Road was closed on Monday after a building had become unsafe.
The warehouse was deteriorating anyway, but Storm Ciara - which raged over the weekend and into this week - exacerbated the situation.
Bradford Council and the owner decided to act swiftly and demolition firm - Thomas Crompton - is in the process of bringing the building down.
High-reach cranes were seen on Monday taking down the upper sections of the building.
New photos taken on Tuesday showed even more of the warehouse had been demolished.
The front of the building was completely opened up.
Work is expected to continue for the rest of the week, with the road remaining closed during that time.
