FLIXTON band will be representing Trafford and Greater Manchester at the regional brass band championships on February 23.
The band realise it’s impractical for many of their supporters to travel to Blackpool for the contest, and so a few days beforehand they’ll be opening their doors to a free rehearsal.
All are welcome to drop in - regardless of whether you're interested in hearing the test piece, are curious to know what the nitty gritty of a brass band rehearsal is like, or just feel like having a few drinks on a Thursday evening.
Their open rehearsal is on February 20 at 8pm at the John Alker Club, Flixton Road, M41 6QY. Entry is free and there’s a bar with drinks available
