AN EXTRAVAGANZA of fashion, fame and fun is promised by the organiser of the first Bolton Fashion and Lifestyle Festival.

Lisa Forshaw had been instrumental in staging two Manchester Fashion Festivals which brought together regional fashion with soap and other celebrities.

Now, she is bringing the same format to Bolton Whites Hotel’s Premier Suite on Friday, March 27 when the first Bolton Fashion and Lifestyle Festival is held – in her home town.

There will be a three-course meal, fashion shows, live entertainment, live music and a DJ and dancing until late. There will also be the chance for local ladies to walk the catwalk with a Model Casting Day on Saturday, February 29 in The Market Place from 9am.

There will be runway shows from fashion designer Zeynep Kartal, Norton Barrie, River Island, Zara, Westhoughton boutique Liberty Bluff and fashion students from the University of Bolton.

Guests will include Hollyoaks actress Jazz Franks, TV and theatre actress Melissa Johns, dancer Emma Lansley, family and lifestyle coach Lisa Wilkinson and mummy blogger Roxanna Hashemi. Entertainment will be provided by Redd and singer Eve Birtwistle.

Other special guests include Coronation Street actress Katie McGlynn, who recently took the National Television Awards’ Best Actor in a Serial Drama award for her role as cancer-stricken Sinead Tinker.

The event is the realisation of a dream for Lisa, of Lisa Forshaw PR, who said: “I am so proud to have the support of so many people from my home town. I have been really humbled by this. I know the festival will be a fantastic event and, I hope, the first of many.”

Tickets are £80 and £60 available by contacting info@boltonfashion.co.uk
