THIS year marks the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
The nation will be celebrating with a bank holiday on Friday, May 8 to mark the anniversary of the end of the Second World War in Europe.
Warrington Museum has supplied this brilliant picture of a VE Day party, believed to be in Stephen’ Street n Howley.
Do you recognise anyone or have memories or pictures of other celebrations which took place across town.
To mark the occasion, the Warrington Guardian is publishing a special edition on Thursday, May 7.
And we want your help and memories.
If you have pictures, memories or anything you think might be of interest, then get in touch.
Maybe you served in the war or were living in Warrington at the time, or maybe you have some family photos or diaries you want to share.
Then get in touch.
You can email us via newsdesk@guardiangrp.co.uk or write to us via VE Day memories, Newsdesk, Warrington Guardian, Unit 2, 240 Cygnet Court, Centre Park, Warrington, WA1 1PP.
