OFFICERS from Dorset Police’s No Excuse team made several stops during a patrol on Wednesday night.
A motorcyclist caught without insurance was one of the first pulled over during the evening.
The rider was spotted in Castle Lane West, Bournemouth.
He admitted having no insurance and told police it was a “one off trip”, before adding: “I am bang to rights”.
He was given six points and a £300 fine.
On the same night, the team stopped a driver after spotting a car without lights on.
The officers then realised the vehicle had not been insured.
Officers from No Excuse said the driver told them: “I thought someone else did that.”
PCs seized the vehicle, handing the driver six points as well as a £300 fine.
