BOLTON Love Island star Mike Boateng has thanked fans for his "amazing journey" ahead of tonight's season finale.
He also thanked girlfriend and fellow contestant Priscilla Anyabu for making his time in the villa "the best experience of my life".
The pair left the villa on Friday night after receiving the fewest votes for the public's favourite couple.
In a heartfelt Instagram post the 24-year-old shared an adorable photo of the two them embracing and looking lovingly at one another.
The post said: "What an amazing journey this has been. I’m actually lost for words at the love you have shown me and my family during my time in the villa. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
"I also want to thank my girlfriend PriscillaAnyabu for making this the best experience of my life. This is the beginning of a beautiful journey and I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing woman."
Mike and Priscilla were among 12 singletons looking for love as the hit ITV2 reality show returned with its first, hotly anticipated winter series in a new South African villa.
Just four couples now remain and will be battling it out to take the title and a share of a £50,000 prize.
The Love Island final kicks will air tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
