A MISSING people search team have been praised at a Thames Valley Police awards ceremony.
Oxfordshire Lowland Search and Rescue were commended at the latest Chief Constable awards, held at the forces' training centre in Sulhamstead.
The group were thanked for their 'outstanding assistance' after helping in investigations last year that required a lot of searching in a short amount of time.
Two other police officers, DC Shelley Slater and PC Jason Brinklow were also awarded for their 'courage and bravery'.
