BURGLARS got a fright when they were shouted at by residents who heard them breaking into an outbuilding at their home in Headington.
Two burglars made a dash for freedom when the residents at Rolfe Place scared them away. It happened at 11.30pm on Tuesday.
Police are now hunting for the criminals and believe it could be linked to three other incidents earlier that night.

At around 10.15pm another resident on the same road was disturbed when burglars made loud banging noises and smashed three windows at their home.
They didn't get inside, or take anything.
The other two incidents happened at 10pm on Harberton Mead.
The thieves broke a padlock to a shed at one house and then caused significant damage to a motorised scooter at another.
