LATEST figures show that there are now 23 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bury.
According to the most recent statistics published by the Department for Health and Social Care and Public Health England, as of 9am on 25 March, a total of 97,019 have been tested with 87,490 negative and 9,529 positive.
463 patients who tested positive for coronavirus have sadly died.
It comes as Health Secretary Matt Hancock says a total of 560,000 members of the public have now answered the Government's call for volunteers to aid the NHS.
Mr Hancock tweeted: "NEWS: Fantastic that 560,000 people have now responded to our call to volunteer to support our NHS to defeat #Coronavirus."
