NHS bosses have announced that some outpatient services are being relocated from Altrincham Hospital to Trafford General Hospital due to the coronavirus crisis.
Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust released the statement saying that the move comes as part of their response to the coronavirus.
A spokesman said: "From April 1, we will be temporarily re-locating some outpatient services from Altrincham Hospital to Trafford General Hospital.
"This is so that we can use our staff and resources to support the increased need for critical care.
"The services which will temporarily re-locate are outpatient services, physiotherapy, Phlebotomy Service and the Walk-In Centre.
"A number of services will continue to be provided from Altrincham Hospital including the Renal Dialysis Unit and Ophthalmology Uveitis Clinics."
"We understand this that this may cause disappointment or concern and all patients who are affected will be contacted directly.
"We would like to thank everyone for their continued support to the NHS at this particular time."
