For the second week in a row, people across the country stood in unity, on their doorsteps, to clap for the NHS.

The show of appreciationย for NHS workers, and all other key workers who don't quite get the credit they deserve in these unprecedented times, took place at 8pm on Thursday.

And the rounds of applause didn't stop on doorsteps, as fire crews and police officers from East Lancashire and beyond gave a blues and twos salute to the heroes fighting the coronavirus on the front line.

In Blackburn, firefighters used their inside knowledge of lighting and camera angles to set up this professional looking video.

While crews in Darwen created this amazing display using joined up hose.

Nelson's Red Watch also joined in on the national appreciation.

As did fire and ambulance staff in Lancaster...

...and police officers in Bolton

And over in Preston, Red Watch got involved too.
