A SHOOTING on a street in Halliwell last week was a "targeted attack", police have said.
Officers were called to Battenberg Road at around 10.25pm on Thursday, March 26 and found a red Kia and a black Vauxhall Corsa had been damaged after gunshots were fired.
Greater Manchester Police investigators examined material at the scene which show "numerous shots" were fired.

A force spokesman said: "Police are aware that one gunman and other suspects that were unarmed were at the scene.
"This was a targeted attack but positive steps have been taken to reduce the risk of any further incidents in the area and there is no suggestion of any direct risk to the wider community."
