POLICE have seized an Audi RS3 after it was seen racing through East Lancashire last night.
Officers have slammed the driver of the vehicle for breaking the Government's coronavirus lockdown guidelines, deeming his jaunt through Nelson 'Non-essential travel'.
Pendle Police Tweeted: "Audi RS3 racing through Nelson. Not sure racing an M3 would be considered by the government as essential travel. Driver dealt with and his pride and joy seized #T2TacOps #Lancspolice #stayhomesavelives."
Chf Supt Russ Proctor added: "Good work @PendlePolice and right result for those who blatantly ignore Government advice and put lives at risk in our communities either through #COVID19 or on our roads .Keep supporting the #SaveLives #ProtectTheNHS #StayHome."
