Police officers praise residents for following lockdown advice
BLACKBURN with Darwen Police have thanked residents in the borough for following Government guidelines to stay at home.
Officers posted on their Facebook page about visits to parks and open spaces.
It said: "Three officers from Blackburn Team 1 Response have been out on foot today to engage with the public and encourage co-operation with the social distancing guidance.
"Great to see so many places that would usually be packed on a nice sunny day be so quiet.
"Lots of supportive comments from the public.
"Thank you for sticking to the guidelines folks."
