A woman has been charged with failing to comply with the Coronavirus Act after police were called to a house party multiple times
Officers confirmed they arrested a 31-year-old woman after having to break up the party at a house Cottam Street, Elton, on Saturday evening.
Now, Samantha Dobbs, 31, of Pilling Street, Elton, has been charged with failing to comply with direction/instruction/requirement/restrictions imposed under Schedule 21 of the Coronavirus Act 2020.
Witnesses claimed that around 10 people were at the party and that police attended three times in total.
Dobbs will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Wednesday 13th May.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police added: "On more than one occasion on Saturday 4 April 2020, police received reports of non-compliance at a property on Cottam Street, Bury."
