A WINDING-up order has been granted against a Bury wholesalers by a county court judge in favour of a Danish firm.
Scandinavian finance firm Youlend lodged a petition with the High Court in Leeds against FirstChoice Bury, based in Cook Street, earlier this year.
And now a judge in West Yorkshire has granted their application and the firm, which has been trading since 2014 and employed up to 30 people, is now facing liquidation.
Last year the Bury Times reported how profits had more than trebled for the wholesaler.
Turnover had also increased from £1.53m to £3.06m, according to their 2018-19 accounts.
This was said to have contributed towards profit margins at the Adil House firm rising from £47,682 to £181,752 year-on-year, to the end of October 2018.
