A TEENAGER from Bury has appeared in court accused of breaking lockdown restrictions after being caught with a baseball bat, a lock knife and hammer.
Tino Williams, 18, of Bury Road, Tottington, has appeared before Manchester magistrates charged with possession of offensive weapons in Lancaster Avenue, Ramsbottom, on April 14.
Williams has also been accused of causing criminal damage to a window, valued at £300, on the same date.
Police have also charged him with failing to comply with restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, an offence contrary to the Coronavirus Act 2020.
Magistrates determined the case could not be immediately heard, because of restraints on the courts caused by the pandemic, and bailed him until August 4
