A PRESTWICH man who forced his way into a home in Radcliffe has been given an 18-month community order by magistrates.

Andrew Lee Glover, 33, also damaged a door during an incident in Borough Avenue on June 17, the Manchester court was told.

Glover, of Wilton Court, pleaded guilty to threatening violence to secure entry to premises, causing criminal damage and sending grossly offensive text messages.

Magistrates told him he would have to perform 120 hours community service and take part in 10 rehabilitation activity days before mid-December 2021.

The court also issued a restraining order, preventing him from contacting Tara Kirby, except through the family courts or social services for child contact.
