There have been no coronavirus deaths recorded in Wirral hospitals today, NHS England has confirmed.
It means that the total number of patients who have died with Covid-19 at Wirral University Teaching Hospital remains at 238.
Earlier today, the Globe reported that one futher fatality had occured, but this was due to a reporting glitch, which has now been rectified.
A further 38 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,051.
Patients were aged between 40 and 98 years old. Three patients, aged 65 to 86 years, had no known underlying health conditions.
Their families have been informed.
The North West has accounted for 13 of the deaths that have been recorded today.
