A BRADFORD city centre bar has announced its return to the nightlife scene this week after "great consideration".

In a post on social media, the owner revealed Rumshackalack is reopening on Thursday, July 16 with new guidelines for drinkers.

Rumshackalack will now open from 10am weekdays until late, and 10am-12am at the weekend.

It was one of many pubs in Bradford district to remain closed on Super Saturday.

The post read: "After great consideration, we have decided to welcome you all back to the . We've all been working tirelessly to create a safe environment for both our staff and you, the customer.

"Understandably, things will be a little different in this new world we've found ourselves in, therefore we have set out some guidelines for you to follow - for the foreseeable future.

"We know it's been a difficult few months but we hope to see you all very soon.

"Thank you for taking the time to read this, we can't wait to have you back!"

For drinkers wanting to book a table, you should message the Facebook page whilst staff get their phone lines up and running. It will operate on a first come, first served basis for those without a booking.

Only one group at a time can use the small seating area outside.

There will also be hand sanitising stations set up and customers are asked to remain in their seats as much as possible with table service throughout the bar.

For toilet trips, the bar will have a one in/one out system and regularly checked and sanitised by staff, including all touch points.

Upon entering drinkers must leave their name and number to be used in partner with the Track and Trace app.
