MINDLESS vandals smashed two windows of a food shop just days after it reopened following the lockdown.
Avocado Health Bar on Chorley New Road in Horwich was targeted by yobs at around 2am on Monday in an act of criminal damage.
Store manager Jayne Walker said CCTV has been sent to the police in an attempt to reprimand the culprits
Jayne said: "One of the staff members saw the damage on Monday when we were opening up.
"I just do not understand why people would do that – it is mindless.
"We only opened last week and we have had to board up the windows which has cost £200 and the windows will probably cost another £1,000."
Jayne said she heard that another shop in Horwich also had their windows smashed on the same night but was unsure which business was affected.
