A JUDGE is set to rule on the fate of a Whitefield man who has been caught with indecent images of children.
Mark Nathaniel Brandon, 38, of Lily Hill Street, entered guilty pleas to a series of charges when he appeared before Manchester magistrates.
He admitted to making 67 still or moving indecent images of children, rated at Category A, the most serious level of abuse, between dates in January 2018 and May 2019.
Brandon also pleaded guilty to making 381 indecent images at Category B, the next most serious level.
And he also confessed to making a further 1,449 indecent images at Category C, over similar dates.
He pleaded guilty also to possession of a prohibited image of a child over the same period.
Magistrates committed his case to Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court for sentence and ordered him to sign the sex offenders register at his local police station on an interim basis. He was bailed to appear before a judge on August 7.
