A NEW Arts and Crafts store is set to open in Radcliffe, operated by a family-run company that features on a leading UK craft channel.

Pearly Winks Craft Supplies are set to open the doors to their Blackburn Street shop on Saturday, August 1.

The team goes on Hochanda each month to promote their ink sprays and other products, which will be on sale in their store.

Established in April 2015, Hochanda became the first shopping channel dedicated to crafts, hobbies and art.

Pearly Winks marketing manager Adam Kendall-Stokes said: "Soon after starting out we decided to give it a go on a shopping channel and have grown since then.

"We have a one hour slot a month and we are able to advertise on the channel and then sell our products too.

"We thought bringing this shop to Radcliffe would be great for the local area as there isn't really anything around that offers craft supplies."

The business plans to offer workshops, live demonstrations and other activities to help get the local community involved.

Among the products they sell are sprays, texturing paste, adhesives, stamps and stencils.

Adam's husband and owner, Simon Kendall-Jones, said: "We started in 2018 and we are from a very crafty family really.

"It was my sister who encouraged us to go onto the channel and show people our pearl mist sprays.

"We still have quite a bit to do in terms of the store - but we are hoping that locals will enjoy what we have."
