A crash happened between a police car and another motorist on a busy road yesterday (August 1) afternoon.
Pictures show the aftermath of a collision between a police car and a silver VW Beetle which happened around 5:30pm on Saturday afternoon.
The crash happened in Manchester Road, on the junction of Loxham Street and Ivanhoe Street, near Moses Gate train station in Farnworth.
People can be seen next to the damaged vehicle sitting on the floor, but it is unknown whether anyone was hurt in the incident.
Greater Manchester Police and North West Ambulance Service have been approached for more information.
