A BODY of a man was found by police responding to a concern for welfare call this morning.
Emergency services were called to Fold Road in Stoneclough at around 8am.
The road was cordoned off as police investigated the circumstances surrounding the death, which is being treated as non suspicious.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "Shortly before 8.05am on Wednesday 14 October 2020, police were called to reports of concern for the welfare of a man on Fold Road in Stoneclough, Bolton.
Officers attended and sadly found the body of a man.
"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a file will be passed to the coroner."
