Warning about cold callers
Cumbria Trading Standards has warned the public to beware 'bogus' Covid-19 marshals.
A spokesman said: "Beware of bogus COVID marshals targeting doorsteps."
The public body reported that the Charted Trading Standards Institute had received reports of incidences involving people pretending to be Covid-19 marshals and medical professionals to gain access to people's homes.
