FIREFIGHTERS came to the rescue of a kitten who got stuck.
Crews from Bolton North were called to Grosvenor Street in Radcliffe at 7.30pm after a kitten managed to get wedged under a fitted kitchen.
Firefighters used special tools to remove a fitted plinth after which the kitten darted straight upstairs.
A fire spokesman said that the kitten would have probably come out by herself had a bowl of food been left out for her, and urged owners not to panic as animals are usually able to come out, even if they looked trapped.
