A FRESH appeal has been made over a wanted man in connection with the shooting of Bury boxer Cole Kershaw.
Detectives have confirmed they are on the lookout for 20-year-old Haris Hussain in relation to the August 12 incident.
Cole was shot in the chest during an altercation on Chesham Road, at around 9.30pm that night.
Police say they received reports of a number of shots being fired, with the one which struck Cole providing fatal that same night.
Detectives say that anyone with information or may know the whereabouts of Haris Hussain is asked to call 0161 856 6777 or anonymously share information direct online via https://mipp.police.uk/operation/06GMP20N07-PO1, an interactive incident room.

* Three other Bury men, aged between 19 and 28, have been charged with Cole's murder, A fourth man from Heywood has been accused conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life and assisting an offender. They are set to face a preliminary hearing at Manchester Crown Court on February 5 next year.
